About Us
The ALO Foundation Incorporated was established by the Alpha Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated; however, both organizations serve as separate and distinct corporations. The organization was founded in 1995 and incorporated by the State of North Carolina in 1996. It attained its 501 (c) (3) status in February 1997 and continues to remain in good standing. The corporation is organized for educational and charitable purposes, which includes the development and implementation of educational and community services through scholarships, donations and outreach programs. The ALO Foundation Inc. allows contributors and supporters to make tax-deductible contributions.
ALO Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to providing service to the community through scholarships and other charitable contributions.
